Boston Marathon — Brand Activationadidas wanted to create a fan experience during Boston marathon that amplified the brand’s connection to the worlds most famous race and hyped up Adizero footwear. The ask was to deliver an immersive, multi-day activation that combined programmed events with running influencers and authentic fan engagement.

To amplify adidas’ deep history at Boston Marathon and the record breaking achievements of Adizero and adidas fastest runners, we filled the space with impactful moments and installations that drew fans in with engaging storytelling.
We created a must-capture photo moment for fans with an interactive digital backdrop.
Fans scanned a QR to give their POV on what “Fast feels like” and got to take photos with their response projected above an a eye-catching three stripe LED brand wall. Throughout the weekend the space was home to all things adidas running.
From a podcast taping and events hosted by adidas influencers to running meetups and a gala dinner.As Senior Art Director, I helped lead the creative development of the adidas Running Studio and shaping of the design system and immersive storytelling that anchored the activation. I directed the look and feel of the interactive photo moment, product displays, and projection-mapped logo installation, while ensuring every detail reinforced Adizero’s story of speed and innovation. I also oversaw all creative for live programming touchpoints and branded giveaways, guiding a cohesive experience that energized fans, athletes, and media throughout Boston Marathon weekend.
